About OpenLibrary

A community initiative to make every open-source project in your ecosystem discoverable in a single place.

The ecosystem is rich with community contributions — packages, integrations, tools, and experiments — scattered across hundreds of GitHub repositories. Finding them has always been harder than it should be.

OpenLibrary changes that. We automatically index every public repository on GitHub relevant to this workspace. No registration forms, no approval queues. If the code is public and relevant, it shows up — and you can comment, upvote, bookmark, or reach out to a maintainer without ever leaving the page.

This project itself is open for ideas. If you have ideas for how to make it better, we'd love to hear it.

Automatic discovery

Repositories are indexed continuously — no human bottleneck in the loop.

Growing library

The platform, the code, and the data grows everyday.

Community-first

Built by developers who use this ecosystem, for developers who use it.

GitHub-native

We don't duplicate data. Every link goes straight to the source.
